Thief - Deadly Shadows

I must admit that slinking through shadows while avoiding the city watch is awfully fun. What really sinks my ship however, is that said city watch are rather quick to mark you for death, generally because you go around threatening the civillians and stealing their loot.
You play Garret, the most extrodinary thief since ever, apparently, and are given quests from a mysterious order called the Glyph Keepers. But the glyphs seem to have all gone wonky, and they just can't fix the problem with out you. In between large amounts of faffing about in the city, you are required to go on increasingly harder missions to steal things that will eventually help save the world.
What I found interesting, and terribly annoying, is that while you are the best thief in the world and can climb walls, kill wood golems, take down weird fish/man creatures and see in the dark, you are constantly thwarted by the games many hiccups, namely your poor jumping skills.
Thief - Deadly Shadows by Eidos is a game with some genuinly creepy moments and is a worthy addition to any gamer's collection. Be sure to turns off all your lights before you play.
